Tickets are now available for Geraldton Regional Art Gallery’s (GRAG) night of nights. Returning for the eighth time, the Mid West Art Prize exhibition will launch with a gala opening event on Saturday 9 December.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn is excited for the opportunity to see who will walk away with the top prizes.
“The Mid West Art Prize is our signature art award that showcases the diverse talents of Western Australian artists,” he said.
“The Opening Night is always excellent and provides the community with the chance to experience the work of shortlisted and exhibited artists as well as pay tribute to the winners.
“As this event unfailingly books out, I encourage everyone to secure their free tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
The City of Greater Geraldton would like to thank Yamaji Art, Bowman Bright and Latitude Jewellers for sponsoring the Mid West Art Prize 2023.
For those still wishing to submit their artwork for the competition, entries close Friday 8 September and can be made via the GRAG website.
