Sidewalk Astronomy Geraldton

We’re busting out the telescopes and hitting the streets of Geraldton for some sidewalk astronomy!

Come on down to Geraldton foreshore for a look through our 10-inch Dobsonians – we’ll be checking out everything from Jupiter and Mars, to the Orion nebula and some distant star clusters throughout our galaxy. Just show up on the day – no need to register! 

We’ll also have real astronomers with us to talk about what we’re looking at and answer all your space questions.

We’ll set up just before sunset and start observing as soon as it’s dark enough. Keep an eye out for our telescopes and our glowing red ICRAR banners. Don’t forget to follow us on social media for notifications and last-minute updates.
