Three captivating exhibitions showcasing the works of highly acclaimed local artist Marianne Penberthy alongside renowned multidisciplinary artist Bruno Booth will be unveiled next month at Geraldton Regional Art Gallery (GRAG).
A Matter of Making by Marianne Penberthy presents a retrospective of the Geraldton based artist’s work created between 1994 to the present through textiles, paper and household items.
Feline Good. Howabout Body Shots? brings together two major works by Western Australian artist Bruno Booth. Feline Good. will see 35 cat sculptures arrayed throughout the Gallery, whilst Howabout Body Shots? brings together candid views of the disabled body juxtaposed with familiar landscapes and scenes.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is looking forward to GRAG’s upcoming exhibitions.
“Our Gallery never fails to impress, and these latest exhibitions will be no exception,” he said.
“It is always brilliant to see a local artist exhibiting in our Gallery and Marianne Penberthy’s creations always lives up to expectations. I am also looking forward to seeing Bruno Booth’s unique works using film and sculpture.

Exhibition of A Matter of Making and Feline Good. Howabout Body Shots? has been made possible through the Regional Exhibition Touring Boost managed by the Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries, supported by Royalties for Regions and delivered by ART ON THE MOVE.
A Matter of Making and Feline Good. Howabout Body Shots? will be available to view between Saturday 6 July – Sunday 1 September following the official opening night event on Friday 5 July.
